Apple vinegarSince the American Dr. Jarvis (1881-1945) re-discovered the healing power of apple cider vinegar, this simple product has become very popular. In fact, water, diluted with apple cider vinegar, is rich in valuable mineral substances and promotes digestion. Apple cider vinegar contains vitamins (A, B, B1, B2, B6, beta-carotene, C and E), as well as macro- and microelements. In addition, apple cider vinegar also provides the body with important substances, such as pectin, tannin, bioflavonoid, enzymes and organic acids, especially acetic acid. It is very good for digestion of carbohydrates and fats! Thus, apple cider vinegar is a simple, but very useful drink that burns fats.

Fat burning drink

To speed up the metabolism, a small amount of this drink is enough: add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and a teaspoon of liquid honey to a glass of plain or mineral water. Honey perfectly complements the healing properties of apple cider vinegar, since it contains valuable substances that kill microorganisms and softens the bitter taste of vinegar.

Use before breakfast

To enhance weight-reducing effect, it is recommended to drink a glass of the above-described fat-burning drink in small sips in the morning, just after you wake up.

Lemon juice reduces appetite

Half of a freshly squeezed lemon per glass of water is enough to make an alternative to the above fat burning drink. Just as apple cider vinegar, lemon helps to burn fat. Sour taste reduces appetite, vitamin C protects against many infections – an excellent preventive against colds, especially in the cold season.

Elderberry – the old proven means

Flowers and berries of elder plant are very often used in homeopathy. Our ancestors were familiar with the medicinal properties of this plant, while today not everyone even knows its name.

Nevertheless, elderberry plays a very important role in weight reduction: you can regularly drink elderberry decoction.

Why is elderberry recommended for weight loss?

An important reason for this is that elderberry flowers contain many valuable biological substances that are extremely useful in days of abstinence from food. Elderberries contain:

  1. vitamin C: 100 g of these berries contain about 180 mg of vitamin C. It protects cells and improves absorption of oxygen by the body;
  2. potassium: elderberry is a natural supplier of potassium. Potassium improves the body’s water balance and supports the kidneys function;
  3. niacin: elderberry provides the body with niacin and thus maintains the health of the intestines and skin. If your work is mental, it will be especially important to know that niacin helps the mental activity of the body;
  4. carotenoids: 100 g of elderberries contain at least 350 mg of carotenoids. They are biological substances that enhance immunity. They protect the stomach and prevent inflammation.

Elderberry accelerates metabolism

Energetic effect of elderberry is of particular interest. Elderberry activates the body’s thermal processes. After consuming a glass of warm elderberry decoction or tea with elderberry, a process of sweating immediately begins. Heat indicates that the metabolism is initiated. The cause of many diseases is that internal heat in the body is insufficient. Our ancestors were very active, while our generation moves very little. As a result, the internal heat of the body is not enough to remove all harmful substances from it. Elderberry helps to do this.

Being on a diet, drink at least 1-2 glasses of elderberry decoction or elderberry tea. In winter, it is also recommended to drink at least one cup of elderberry tea a day.

It can be cooked as follows: Add a tablespoon of dried elderflowers to the teapot and pour 400 ml of boiling water. Leave it to brew under the lid for 10 minutes. Then filter it, add honey if desired.

Combination of water and juices

There is a very good way to get all the necessary vitamins during the diet – to mix fruit juices with mineral water in a 1: 1 ratio. Juices you use should not contain sugar. Classic drink is a combination of mineral water with apple or orange juice containing flavonoids, pectin and vitamins. Cocktail that includes grapefruit juice is also useful. Try different combinations during the diet. Focus on your intuition and do not drink something that you do not like to taste.

  • cleanses the digestive organs;
  • lowers cholesterol level and improves liver function;
  • calms nerves.

Powder or ready-made drink

Today you can buy a whey powder, intended for dilution with water in many pharmacies and stores. A special whey for diets contains less sugar. There is also a ready-made whey that you do not need to dilute on your own. A wide variety of dietary whey can be found in stores of herbal medicines and dietary products. Varieties of whey with a fruit flavor are also recommended. You can drink a liter of whey during the diet.
